Nonprofit Organization “Kamocha”(As Yourself)

The organization was registered on October 28, 2003 at the Interior Ministry – Registrar of Nonprofit Organizations according to the Law of Nonprofit Organizations 1980.

“Kamocha” is a Nonprofit organization with no ties to any political organizations. The unique outlook of the organization is that all and any attempts to strengthen weaker segments of society in order to narrow the gap and advance the next generations of Israel are possible only if there will be recognition, participation and support by all members of our society.

1.     Aims of the Organization

1.1                         To be the first junction for all activities that contribute to and support Israeli Society in order to improve the standard of living of all segments of society, especially those segments in desperate need of help.

1.2                         To act as a framework to gather resources (time and others) from all of Israeli Society in Israel and Jewish Society in the Diaspora in order to pass them on to needy individuals or other groups that are functioning for the same purpose in one or more of their activities. To do this without discrimination towards any segment of society and with maximum regard towards the protection of the privacy of those involved by focusing on “All Israel One Family”. Following are examples of such activities:

-         Aid and support to troubled youth in a poor socioeconomic state by teaching and expanding their knowledge in computers and internet as well as other academic areas.

-         Aid to elderly people in need of friendship and support.

-         Aid to organizations whose purpose is to help the sick (cancer, etc…)

1.3                         The aim of the initial activities of the organization, to create a foundation for the further aims of the organization, is to create a database of volunteered hours based on the donation of ONE HOUR of the time of each member in the organization for the coming calendar year.  The mobilization of this resource will be carried out according to the following conditions:

Area

In every geographic area of the State of Israel (which will be chosen by the donator).

Time

At any acceptable time within the framework of activity (which will be chosen by the donator).

Type of activity

Any suitable activity (which will be chosen by the donator).

1.4                         A second operating activity will be the acceptance of donations of money or other assets of value from the Jews of the world as exchange for donated hours. These resources will be used to actualize the aims of the organization in accordance with the law and subjugated to accounting audits.
 

2.     Signing Up Members of the Organization.
          2.1                         Registration procedure

2.1.1                  Registration requests should be sent to the email address kamocha@tricks4u.com and should include a statement of identification with the aims of the organization.

2.1.2                The basic details needed for registration are : First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and or Telephone number. Any additional information can be added depending on the desire of the donator and it is even possible to register anonymously using a number etc…. All details will be kept confidential.

2.1.3                  Those eligible to register are all who identify with our goals and are interested in donating an hour of their time. Children and youth under the age of 18 should register through a parent.
